The INN Labs team is excited to be organizers and speakers at the first ever WordCamp for Publishers in Denver, Colorado. (Especially Kay – this is her hometown!)
This is a great opportunity to bring together folks who use WordPress to manage publications and empower them by sharing best practices and encouraging collaboration on open source tools for publishers.
A bit about INN Labs
We work with media innovators to build the future of independent news.
Our goal is to elevate journalists' work through advancements in technology. We build tools – like our Largo WordPress theme – that can be used broadly to increase overall technical capacity across the nonprofit news sector. We aim to:
- Develop network-level solutions to support INN’s 120+ members
- Help our members’ reporting look great
- Constantly experiment with emerging technologies

We're making an impact, and you can help!
Join us at contributor day! Contributor Day will be held Saturday, August 19 at The Denver Post, and we'll be working on Largo. Contributor days are in-person opportunities to give back to open source projects. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, and the event kicks off at 10:30 a.m.
RC will give an overview of Largo, and then we'll begin some collaborative work towards making the theme standards-compliant for hosting on WordPress.org.
